As an interim measure, to recertify your CDLS®, BDLS®, ADLS® and ADLS™ Instructor certificate, we are asking all certificate holders whose certificate expired in 2007, 2008, 2009 or will expire in 2010 to complete one of the following:
1. eCDLS™-currently available at no charge (the course is funded/approved through a grant from the Department of Homeland Security) at http://www.ncbrt.lsu.edu/elearn Upon entering the site please click on ‘Register Here’ to submit a registration form. A confirming email will be sent to you with a password to access the eCDLS course. For CME/CE credits please fill out the corresponding form found on the website. A CDLS manual, wallet card and CME credit will be available to those who successfully complete eCDLS through September 2008.
The American Medical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The American Medical Association designates this educational activity for a maximum of 4.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
2. eBDLS™-available now.
3. Live course attendance at any CDLS®, BDLS®, ADLS® course offering.
Upon completion of one of these courses, please email a copy of your new certificate to (ndls@ama-assn.org) noting the course name followed by Recertification in the subject line or fax it to (312 464 5841).
